About Me

I was born and raised in Austin, TX which will always have my heart, but after getting my BFA from UT Dallas in Arts and Technology, I stayed in Dallas and started a career in graphic design across an array of sectors (commercial print, corporate marketing, and now web/eCommerce support).

My true passions are illustration and comics, and my ultimate goal is to publish an original graphic novel. For now, you can find me tabling at local markets and collaborating with my friends in the Dallas - Fort Worth area!

There are times where living in Texas has been painful as someone who cares deeply about queer artists of color, but there is a rich and beautiful community of those who are living no matter what. We have each other to take care of.

A Brief Intro
i want to quit art transparent.png

Nothing particularly dramatic happened between March 2023 and today: I made more friends, read more books, did more collaborations, attended more markets and events - all in all, my creative world got bigger. Obviously, I did not quit making art. Finding myself in a growing sphere of amazing artists near me changed how I felt about this “cutthroat” industry: it’s not about competition, it’s about community.

Because my creative community saved me and my art, I dedicate everything to them and anybody who’s seeking that kind of connection over art. I love you. I’m glad I exist.

This is Dice Tray she's a gigantic

tuxedo cat who grabbed me at the

animal shelter with her humongous white

pom-pom mittens and demanded to come

home with me at once. She comes running when she hears me shout "bedtime!" and is almost satisfied with the amount of tuxedo cat paraphernalia in the home.
